Applaud the legendary coach who led the UCLA Bruins to a record-setting 10 men’s basketball Division I national championships with the new John Wooden stamp from the U.S. Postal Service.
The stamp features a portrait of Wooden set against a deep “UCLA blue” background, where a player defends a shot. The numbers on the two players’ jerseys, 4 and 10, allude to the Bruins’ four perfect seasons and the ten national Division I championships during Wooden’s tenure.
The John Wooden stamps are being issued as Forever stamps. These Forever stamps will always be equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
