Each stamp in the issuance features 1 of the brave individuals in a sepia-toned portrait. Below each portrait are eight bold lines of text in shades of brown set against a white background.
The new The Underground Railroad stamps are being issued as Forever stamps. These Forever stamps will always be equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
